Quotes and pricing
Quotes are flat-rate and confirmed before work begins. For most standard jobs we can price from photos and details you send, without a site visit. A quote may be revised if conditions on site differ materially from what was described — for example, hidden stumps, unexpected obstructions, or access that was not disclosed. Any revision is presented for your approval before grinding starts.
Scheduling
Most standard jobs can be scheduled within 24 to 72 hours. Weather, equipment availability, and utility locate timing can affect the schedule; we will contact you if a window changes.
Scope of work
Stumps are ground typically 6 to 8 inches below grade, depending on the intended use of the area and site conditions. Additional depth, root chasing, backfill, or haul-away beyond the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
Site access and underground utilities
You agree to provide clear access to the work area and to disclose known underground items such as irrigation lines, low-voltage lighting, septic components, and private utility lines. We coordinate public utility locates, but private lines are not covered by those locates and cannot always be detected.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless other terms are agreed in writing. Invoices are issued after you have reviewed and approved the finished work.
Cancellations
Let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can release the crew window to another customer.
